Nevada Legal Services honored Borg Law Group, LLC. as the Southern Nevada Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year during a Champions of Justice cocktail reception on October 18, 2019 at The Strat Hotel.

Though the Borg Law Group’s primary mission is meeting client’s needs in the areas of real estate, corporate law, estate planning and probate, founder Brooke Borg has always been committed to serving the community through pro bono work, too. She applauded firm attorney Whitney Short for her hard work in serving those in need, which was a major factor in the firm’s Champion of Justice award.

Nevada Legal Services provides free legal assistance for those who qualify. Last year, more than 15,000 people received help from the nonprofit organization to assist them in matters regarding education, family law, health and individual rights.
